Vice President Sara Duterte urged Filipinos to approach 2025 with the optimism that all of the hardships and hard work of the previous year will result in progress in her New Year's message.

"I continue to share your hopes for peace and advancement. In Cebuano, she stated, "Let us approach the new year with the hope that all of our struggles and past endeavors will result in positive change."
